How to Overcome Can’t Login to Windows 10 Due to Automatic Repair
Even though Windows 10 is often praised for its many advanced new features compared to previous versions of Windows, every human creation is not free from errors.
For those of you who are new to Windows 10, there are several things you need to know before using it any longer.
This operating system made by Microsoft is said to often drain internet quota (for those using limited quota) because of the automatic update feature which cannot be disabled. But, even though it can’t be disabled via the menu, there’s still a way to disable it.
The main problem with the topic that will be discussed in this article is not automatic updates, but update failures which can cause Windows 10 to crash and not be able to enter the Windows desktop home screen or what is often called Stuck in Automatic Repair.
Things like this can irritate ordinary people, especially people who are super busy with their computers. You must be furious when you find Windows 10 can’t enter the home screen.
Usually, the information displayed on the screen is as follows:
Automatic Repair Couldn’t Repair Your PC
Press “Advanced options” to try other options to repair your PC or “Shut down” to turn off your PC.
Log file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt
This informs you that you need to know the error that occurred, and the error report is recorded in the SrtTrail.txt file as indicated on the screen.
Of course, ordinary people will be confused about knowing this, even though there are steps shown on the screen, many people will definitely think that it is not a solution.
So, if you are experiencing this incident and there is a lot of important data stored on your computer, the first thing you have to do is don’t panic. Because there is an effective way that save your data before the computer or laptop has to be reinstalled. Here is the step-by-step.
How to Overcome Can’t Login to Windows 10 Due to Automatic Repair
1. The way to deal with Windows 10 that fails to enter the home screen is to use a Bootable flash drive, namely running the Bootable operating system on a flash drive. To do that, you need to install a Bootable operating system first onto the Flashdrive.
2. If you already have a Flashdrive that contains a Bootable operating system, the next step is to run the operating system to retrieve your important data from the internal hard drive of your computer or laptop.
INFO: After the computer has successfully started using the Bootable operating system running from a Flashdrive, now you can copy data via File Manager just like using Explorer in Windows.
At this point, you need sufficient storage space to store this important data. If the data is small, you can copy it to a flash drive along with a Bootable operating system or transfer it to a cellphone temporarily.
3. Finally, after your important data has been saved, reinstall the computer or laptop to remove the Automatic Repair notification.
After successfully reinstalling Windows, you can now move the important data you previously saved to your computer again and use your computer as before.
That’s how to deal with Windows 10 that can’t enter the Windows desktop home screen menu. I myself have used this method to save a friend’s important data and it was 100% successful.
A little information to avoid something similar happening again, you should disable the Windows 10 automatic update feature, because the problem above is caused by an update that has not been completed but the computer or laptop has been turned off or forced to restart.
